    Opening Circle! and class orientation

    HOMEWORK for ALL for this WEDNESDAY 3/12: Look at your binders and materials and just get curious about what’s there! Read:

    pgs 2-4 (Breathwork group)

    pgs 1-2 (YTT group/trauma binder)

    Take some time to reflect on the questions. Read thru DEFINITION OF KEY WORDS. The key words should either be on pg 5 OR at the back of your Breathwork/Trauma binder.

    YTT only for Saturday 3/15: Research and report back on 2 styles of yoga ( KT will assign on Telegram thread)

    Read about the Meaning of Yoga and the History of Yoga (more details on telegram thread).

  • March 15 -- 16

    YTT Saturday Morning: We learned and presented the STYLES & PATHS of yoga.

    BOTH Saturday evening: FREQUENCY with Katie & Brady

    YTT Sunday morning: Katie’s Power Flow class

    YTT Sunday afternoon: We reflected on the MEANING & HISTORY of yoga. We broke down the sun salutations in depth.

    YTT HOMEWORK: Start practicing sun salutations out loud and begin cueing out loud as you practice — just at home with yourself or with a friend!

    YTT OPTIONAL HOMEWORK TO BE MORE PREPARED FOR NEXT WEEKEND: Read thru the 8 Limbs of Yoga (I will post these pages on our Telegram thread. These pages come after the “History of Yoga” pages that you just read… should be around page 4 in your yoga binder)

    YTT ONGOING HOMEWORK: pose sheets, read “Palace of Illusions”, attend classes

    We went over “Yoga stuff to know & understand) pgs 9-11 in your YTT binder

    BOTH Saturday evening: Breathwork in the Dome Magik style + made bracelets with Kami!

    YTT Sunday morning: Katie’s Power Flow class

    YTT Sunday afternoon: We discussed what INTEGRITY is in our yoga postures. strength/softness, effort/ease

    why muscle energy vs stretch stretchy

    YTT Ongoing homework: continue to work on pose sheets and practice cueing your own practice out loud

  • April 19 -- 20

    YTT Saturday Morning: We discussed how to build a POWER FLOW class like KT! We built a sequence together and Katie will teach it in tomorrow’s 10am class.

    BOTH Saturday evening: FREQUENCY at The Local Co-Op with Katie & Thomas

    YTT Sunday morning: Katie’s Power Flow class — watch our sequence unfold in real time!

    YTT Sunday afternoon: cancelled today for Easter but BE SURE TO WATCH THE RECORDING with Alec Soderberg about The Bhagavad Gita if you aren’t able to attend live. Also mark your calendar for 4/29 6-8pm with Alec on ZOOM. He will cover “Subtle Body Anatomy” — namely, The Koshas and The Vayus/Pranas.

    YTT Saturday Morning: Katie’s home — Discussed, reviewed, and practiced various Pranayama techniques

    Reviewed Movement Vocab & Languaging and talked about the Anatomy Coloring Book and which pages you should take interest in!

    YTT homework: finish filling out the 2 pages in your YTT binder entitled “PRANAYAMA BREATHING EXERCISES” (somewhere around page 21/22/23)

    YTT homework: practice adjusting and assisting on each other and on friends/family/dogs… practice your touch! Begin assisting classes when you feel so inclined.

  • Bear Lake Retreat: June 20 -- 22

    We enjoyed a weekend of connection and self discovery up at Bear Lake! Thank you those who attended and those who shared your gifts in different ways throughout the weekend.

    The only “curriculum” we covered was the section on HOLDING SPACE in your binders. If you missed it plz go over these pages in your binder on your own:
